In this flagship activity, we don’t just learn how to knead. We discover the heritage craft of embroidered symbolic wedding breads—a centuries-old tradition where every hand-sculpted design on the dough tells a story and conveys a blessing. What You Will Experience: The Kneading Ritual: Using fine local flours and pure ingredients, we begin the bread-making process the traditional way. “Embroidering” the Dough: Guided by local women skilled in the craft, we learn to form symbolic shapes out of dough—birds representing freedom, flowers for the blooming of a new life, and fruits for abundance. Every participant creates their own edible masterpiece. The Wood-Fired Oven: We proceed to the baking phase, where the traditional wood-fired oven is already preheated. The scent of woodsmoke and freshly baked sourdough will carry us back in time. Tasting Session: The workshop concludes by savoring our warm, freshly baked bread accompanied by authentic local delicacies from Arcadiani.
