Agritourism & Wine Tourism in the Peloponnese
Wineries, olive groves, farms and workshops that welcome visitors, with the producer as your host.
From the vineyards of Nemea and Mantinia to the olive groves of Messinia and Laconia, the Peloponnese is a place where farming and food production are part of everyday life. Agiorgitiko and Moschofilero have their roots here, while olives, including Kalamata and Koroneiki, shape much of the southern landscape. Between the mountains and villages, you'll also find beekeepers, livestock farmers and producers keeping traditional recipes and ways of working the land alive.

Planning a visit to the Peloponnese
The Peloponnese is bigger than it looks on the map. Mountain roads and long distances mean it's worth choosing one area and taking your time. Nemea is around 1.5 hours from Athens, while Messinia takes close to three hours by road. The grape harvest usually runs from late August through October, while the olive harvest peaks from November to January.
