In the heart of Mesogeia, at the family-owned Liepouris Winery, we invite you to experience two of Greece’s most iconic products: extra virgin olive oil and Greek wine. Just before or after your visit to the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, through flavors, aromas, and stories, discover Mediterranean tradition and hospitality in a place where the love for the land and wine is passed down from generation to generation. The experience includes: • Tasting of 4 extra virgin olive oils from different Greek regions and varieties. • Use of official tasting glasses to better understand the different categories of olive oil • Learning how to identify the differences between fresh and defective extra virgin olive oil. • Discovering the unique aromas and characteristics of each variety. • Healthy tips inspired by the Mediterranean diet. • Guided tour of the winery and introduction to its history and philosophy. • Wine tasting of 4 labels accompanied by traditional Greek delicacies. • Presentation of the grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and unique characteristics of each label.
